Fourth Wing

I’m not normally a fantasy reader (it’s a great genre, I just haven’t been interested), but I had major FOMO and bought a copy of Fourth Wing at my local Barnes and Noble. And let me tell you…Fourth Wing will now be my personality for at least the next 3 months. Likely much longer.

This book was SO GOOD! Words cannot express how much I loved Fourth Wing. I laughed. I cried (sobbed). I swooned. I karate kicked the air (I had a lot of emotions to process at 11PM the night I finished reading). I obsessed over dragons.

I loved the characters, the setting, and the plot. One of my biggest fears about fantasy is being so confused by the world building and not being able to visualize what’s happening. But that’s another reason Fourth Wing is so good. The world building wasn’t over the top and was accessible to us fantasy newbies. The author did an INCREDIBLE job.

And that ending?! I think it’s one of the best book endings I’ve ever read. I would not have expected that outcome in a million years. Fourth Wing ended in such a good place, and the author set readers up well for the sequel. On a similar note, it feels like a crime that readers have to wait until November to see what happens!

Fourth Wing is 100% worth the hype – this non-fantasy reader encourages everyone to give it a read!

Okay, that is all. Back to emotionally karate kicking the air until November when the sequel, Iron Flame, is delivered to my front door 🥹🙃

Did I mention the dragons?!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars)
